Annet Mahendru

Mahendru, a Russian-Indian mother was born in Afghanistan. She fluently speaks German Russian English. The parents of Annet Mahendru are Russian and Indian. An improvised performance she choreographed at the age of 11 that aired on German television, transformed her into a Russian dancer, who became a snow maiden. She finished high school in New York and received a bachelor of Arts in English at St. John's University. In New York, she studied acting in the HB studio. Later on, she moved to the Groundlings School and took up various tasks. She was raised in Kabul Afghanistan by a Hindu/Indian father Ghanshan Mahendru and Russian-speaking mom Olga. The couple divorced at the age of 13 young and relocated from the city of her birth to East Meadow New York with her father.She stars alongside Matthew Rhys and Keri Russell in The Americans on FX. The Americans. Her role on FX's The Americans as Nina Sergeevna Krilova is her most notable television performance. The actress also appeared on Fox's The Following and NBC's The Blacklist.
