Emily Irene VanCamp, who originally wanted to be a professional dancer, became interested in the acting field after she visited her sister Katie on The Ladies Room set. In parallel to taking acting lessons she was also offered an appearance on a TV show in Canada. The TV shows she was a part of include Do You afraid of the Dark? Radio Active, Dice. VanCamp made a success in his career when getting a role on Glory Days, the WB thriller. Although the show received positive reviews, its low ratings led to it being ended after nine short episodes. The May 12 1986-born actress had a quick time securing a new role in Everwood as a member of the principal cast members Amy Abbott. For this part, it was that she was nominated by the Young Artist Award, and as well as Four Teen Choice Awards.
