Susan Sarandon
Susan Abigail Sarandon (born on the 4th of October 1946) is an American actor and activist. She has been awarded many awards which include the Academy Award, a BAFTA Award as well as an SAG Award, and has been nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award, six Primetime Emmy Awards, and nine Golden Globe Awards. In 2002, she was recognized with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for her contributions to the field of film. Sarandon started her acting career with the film drama Joe (1970), before appearing in the soap-opera A World Apart (1970-1971). In 1974, she appeared as the role of a Zelda Fitzgerald surrogate in the television film F. Scott Fitzgerald and 'The Last of the Belles'. The next year, she appeared in the role of Janet Weiss in the musical comedy horror film The Rocky Horror Picture Show. After being nominated for the roles of Thelma and Louise (1991) Thelma & Louie (1991) as well as Lorenzo's oil (1992), Dead Man Walking (1994), Sarandon received the Academy Award for Best Actress in the Leading Role for Atlantic City (1980), Thelma &Louise (1991), Lorenzo's Oil (922) and The Client (1994). Sarandon also won the BAFTA Award for Best Actress in an Leading Role for The Client, and the Screen Actors Guild Award for Best Actress for Dead Man Walking.
